Shambhala School of Buddhist Studies The Shambhala School of Buddhist Studies offers a four-cycle program of practice and study for anyone interested in learning about Shambhala Buddhism and meditation. Students do not need to be or become a Buddhist to take these courses, although that opportunity will be provided for those who want to do so.
Each cycle of courses provides:
- weekly classes as well as one-day, two-day, and weekend intensives
- courses in each of the three yanas or "vehicles" of the Buddhist teachings
- a community practice intensive
- teachings of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Pema Chodron and other teachers
- a central transmission and contemplation
