Online - Community Dialogue: Racial Justice and Buddhism

October 8th—December 10th

Date details +
    Room: Online

Join us online for a participant-shaped exploration of the intersection of race and the cultural expression of buddhadharma in North America. Classes will feature short recorded talks and facilitated discussions.

We will begin with sections from the book Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love, and Liberation by Rev. Angel Kyodo Williams, Lama Rod Owens, and Jasmine Syedullah.

If you can (optional), please read the Preface and Introduction of this book before the first class. Depending on the backgrounds and interests of participants, we may work through the book together, or branch out into other sources.

Five Sessions on Second and Fourth Thursdays from October 8th through December 10th, 7:30 – 9:00 PM

    Everyone welcome.
